New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on the home of Punjab Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora.
Calling the ED the BJP’s “contract killer” for these raids, Singh said that this drama will continue for two or three days, fake news will circulate, and then the contract killers will go back. He also described these raids as a conspiracy to defame the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab, holding Prime Minister Modi responsible for this.
In a post shared on social media, the AAP MP wrote, “The BJP’s “contract killer,” the ED, has arrived in Punjab again today. Raids have begun at the home of Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora. The drama will continue for two or three days, fake news will circulate, and then the contract killers will go back.” Singh then added, “Then the boss will give them a new task.” Modi ji, how many more tactics will you use to defame the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab and stop the work of the people of Punjab?

A day before this, the ED also conducted raids in Punjab. Even then, Sanjay Singh had strongly objected to the action and wrote on social media, “The people of Punjab will give a befitting reply to the contract killer gang (ED). The Modi-Amit Shah attempt to stop the good work of the Bhagwant Mann government will fail. The conspiracy to defame Aman Arora will be exposed.”

Sanjay Singh further said, ‘ED has become the most unreliable institution today, getting kicked and beaten in all courts, from the lower courts to the Supreme Court. They have become an institution. They have been reprimanded repeatedly, but they are not improving because they are a killer gang, and now they have to do whatever the killer gang’s boss says. Therefore, don’t play such dirty political games in Punjab, Modiji. The whole of Punjab is watching you. Contest the elections, come to the polls. The people of Punjab will give you a reply. This kind of hooliganism will not be tolerated there.
Kejriwal said, “Modiji has betrayed Punjab a lot.”
Regarding the ED raids in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal said on X, “As soon as the Bengal elections ended, Modiji started conducting ED raids in Punjab every day. In the last few years, Modiji has betrayed Punjab a lot. He has tortured Punjabis in various ways.”
“Like Aurangzeb, Modiji is now torturing Punjabis.”
He said, “Punjab is the land of Gurus.” Several hundred years ago, Aurangzeb conquered many parts of the country through crime and oppression. Modiji has also conquered many parts of the country through dishonest means… Modiji has now reached Punjab. Modiji is also oppressing Punjabis. Today, inspired by the Gurus’ sacrifices, Punjab will confront Modiji’s atrocities and save the entire country from his tyranny.
The former Delhi Chief Minister alleged, “They attacked Punjab’s water supply, tried to take over Punjab University, stopped rural development funds, and now they have launched a series of ED raids. A few years ago, Modiji challenged the farmers of Punjab and had to bow before them. Today, Modiji has challenged the entire Punjab.”
